About Simona
A long way round to a simple practice.
Where it started
I trained first as an osteopath in Russia, in a school that taught you to listen with your hands before you were allowed to move anything. That training still decides how I teach: slowly, and from what is actually there rather than what should be.
Later I spent years in Thailand and Japan. I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, sat with Buddhist teachers, and learned the internal arts from people who had practised them for forty years and still called themselves students. Some of what I found there did not translate. Most of it did.
How I work now
I teach on the Costa del Sol and, through this library, anywhere else. My clients are rarely athletes. They are people in their fifties, sixties and seventies who want to keep moving, sleep properly, and stop carrying their shoulders around their ears.
That is who this library is built for. If you have never done anything like this, you are exactly who I had in mind.
